Specialists of the Institute of Applied Geophysics named after Academician E. K. Fedorov reported that a magnetic storm has not been recorded on Earth in recent hours, TASS reports.
It is reported that at present the degree of disturbance of the Earth’s magnetic field does not reach even the weakest value in G1 of the five G levels, with which the power of magnetic storms is measured. According to monitoring data, the magnetic field of our planet is completely calm.
Recall that in May, scientists recorded the strongest magnetic storm on Earth in two years. The level of geomagnetic disturbances at the peak reached seven on a nine-point scale. The Earth actually experienced a short and strong cosmic impact.
